- TOWING
- Ensure that you have
a 50mm tow ball on your vehicle and that the trailer is coupled
to it correctly
- Check that the trailerlights
are working correctly
- Check that the all legs
are in the up position and fastened securely (bolt should screw
through hole in leg)
- Remove jockey wheel
and store in trailer or vehicle
- Make sure that "Road
Cover" is on and fastened securely with the 8 straps
- CAMPER ERECTING
- Choose a flat dry area
and clear any twigs or sharp stones
- Move trailer to desired
position keeping in mind position of door and prevailing weather
if any
- Level trailer using
jockey wheel, drop rear legs down and tighten
- Unclip "Road Cover"
straps and remove cover (Pic 1)
- Pull canvas off the
top of the trailer until hoops want to lift up
- While one person raises
first hoop slightly, another pulls on canvas to raise camper and
swing all the hoops out (Pic 2)
- Now peg the floor out,
making sure that it is pegged out square with no wrinkles in the
floor (if awning will not be used then peg awning guy ropes at the
same time as the far side floor pegs
- If using awning, drag
awning off camper roof to allow next step to tension roof fully
- Next go inside the camper,
close door (this will ensure that door is not distorted while tensioning
which may make zip harder to use) extend the last hoop out as far
as it goes. Tighten thumb screws (Pic 3)
- Camper is now erected,
awning can be erected now and walls added if needed
 
- AWNING ERECTION (if needed)
- Awning should already
be off camper roof (step 8 above)
- Peg down springs approximately
3 metres from camper (see Diag 1)
- Insert upright poles
into eyelets and adjust poles to profile of camper
- Tension guy ropes as
needed (Pic 4) tension guy rope on opposite side of camper to stop
front window wall being distorted by pull of awning
 
- ANNEXE ERECTION (if needed)
- Slide draught skirt
into rope track on rear of trailer and fasten to camper with touch
tape
- Insert two small poles
into brackets on trailer (above rear tailgate)
- Insert two upright poles
along camper wall and extend to profile of camper
- Add spreader bars in
between poles (ensure that thumbscrew is pointing away from canvas)
- Zip on walls. Peg corners
in the following order A, D, B and the C, then peg down all other
rings (see Diag 1)
- Retension all poles
and spreaders (Pic 5)
- DISMANTLING
- Reverse the erection

- Make sure you slide
the rear draught skirt out of the track before folding canvas onto
camper
- Fold up as neatly as
possible when hoops are being lowered (Note only the 4th hoop is
loosened and pushed in, other 3 hoops are left fully extended as
they are
- Fit "Road Cover"
to folded canvas with label at the rear of the trailer. Fasten 8
straps and pull tight
- Slide rear legs up and
bolt securely (make sure that bolt screws into hole at bottom of
leg)
