Rollout Awning Walls

Roll Out Awning Walls

We have three styles of ROA walls available. They are all manufactured in top quality Australian made canvas and come as standard with a door, one window and storm flap to seal from the van to the ground.

You can add other doors and windows if you wish and customise most other features to suit your needs.

See below for more details on the various styles from the standard to deluxe and then our superdeluxe. We're sure that we have a design to suit your needs.

Standard ROA Walls (click here to view erection instructions)

Features for this basic model are as follows:

  • 3 seperate walls that zip together at the corners
  • end walls attach by means of an adjustable tent pole at the top (this clips into a bracket on the van and slides into a hole drilled in the roller at the the other end). The walls are fitted approx 75mm in from the edge of the awning to make more weatherproof and 4 clips on the wall attach to the edge of the awning to make a better seal
  • long wall slides into track already existing on your roller, pegs down to the ground and has 3 velcro loops on each end to fasten around awning supports
  • both end walls slide into track that needs to be fitted to your van
  • storm flap under the van fits with press studs
  • front wall has a 700mm wide door
  • long wall has a large scenic window
  • on poptop vans each end wall has a PVC infill to seal any gap at the top
  • heavy duty zips
  • other doors and windows can be added if desired

Deluxe ROA Walls (click here to view erection instructions)

Features for this are as follows:

  • same features as the standard except that end walls attach by means of an Anti Flap Kit (AFK) this kit is detailed at the bottom of this page and makes for a much better seal between the end walls and the awning roof

Superdeluxe ROA Walls (click here to view erection instructions)

Features for this top of the range model are as follows:

  • same features as the Deluxe (uses Anti Flap Kit system)
  • long wall extends past end walls and velcros around awning supports (this holds the wall tight for the full height of the wall and makes for a neater look)
  • a seperate flap slides into the upright tracks on the van and then velcros to the end walls (this make the walls easier to erect and dismantle)
  • end walls join to the storm flap with velcro to make for a better seal in the bottom corners
  • for poptop vans the PVC infill attaches with a plastic rod slid into 2 brackets to make for a neater and easier fit

Anti Flap Kit

The anti flap kit system (AFK) consists of a pair of special frames which attach to a bracket on the van and slide into a hole drilled in the roller. Part of these frames has a clamp system which tightens onto the awning skin and holds the edge of the awning secure along it's entire width. This stops any flapping of the awning skin ends in windy situations.

On the underside of the AFK an inbuilt track allows the end walls to slide in and attach securely making for a far better weather seal and a more stable annexe.

The AFK is strong yet lightweight, durable and easy to store.

Curved Roof Rafter

Some longer Roll Out Awnings may get a slight sag in the centre of the roof and have the possibility of water pooling when it rains. To alleviate this we have the Curver Roof Rafter.

When in place it gives the roof a slight bow and helps with water runoff. Awnings of 3.5 metres or more may require the addition of one rafter while two may be required for 5 metres or longer.
